• A minimum of 2 week’s notice is required to cancel a “Pay Monthly – No Contract” Membership. Cancellations received after the 15th of the month will not be processed until the following month and arrears accrued will be due on/before the end of the month in which payment failed.
    • Pay Monthly – No Contract members in arrears will be notified and membership suspended until payment is received or an alternative arrangement is agreed upon with management.
    • Persons willing to become members of Spirit Leisure Centre must complete an official application form. The form must be accompanied by the relevant membership fee. No application is accepted until payment is cleared / agreed.
    • Membership is non-refundable but can be transferred to another person. Membership is transferable at the discretion of management. Additional fee’s and forms are required.
    • Management reserves the right to reject any application for membership without giving any explanation for their decision. All monies will be refunded in such cases (if applicable).
    • Members who are in arrears on their subscription will have their membership suspended pending payment.
    • Each member will be issued with a membership key-fob which will be the property of the owner and will remain so following termination of membership for whatever reason.
    • On each visit to the Leisure Club the key-ring must be produced to a member of staff at the club. Replacement key-fobs cost €1.
    • Members who undertake their own fitness program without receiving a program from our staff are personally responsible for their own well being.
    • The owner reserves the right to determine the subscription membership fees for each of the facilities where applicable, these fees will be reviewed annually and the owner also reserves the right to increase membership or admissions as required.
    • The rules, opening hours and facilities available may vary at the owner’s discretion or for maintenance purposes. You will not be compensated for any delays/closures.

     

    • Facilities must be cleared 20 minutes before closing to allow for showering and dressing
    • All notices and safety procedures and staff are to be adhered to at all times.
    • Alcohol is strictly forbidden in the Leisure Club as is anybody suspected to be under the influence of alcohol. Staff decision on this matter is final.
    • No pets are allowed in the Leisure Club, with the exception of guide dogs.
    • Please consult with a qualified member of staff on the use of the gym equipment
    • From time to time the Leisure club may be closed for maintenance work, re-decoration or special functions or as other circumstances require. Notice of these changes will be posted for members in advance of the closure times.
    • Members must consult a member of staff regarding the use of the sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi if they have any physical or medical conditions/impairments.

    Children (Under 16)

    • A child (aged 15 and under) membership can only be accepted as an addition to an adult membership.
    • Children aged 9 and under MUST be accompanied by an adult, in the water with them, while in the pool. Children aged 10 or over are permitted access alone once over 4ft tall and competent swimmers.
    • Children under 16 are not permitted access to the Jacuzzi, Sauna, Steam Room or Gym/Studio facilities at any time.
    • An adult must supervise and be responsible for their child’s conduct while in the pool.
    • Children under 16 years are not allowed to use the Leisure Club before 8am or after 7.30pm.
    • For all children under 3 years of age it is compulsory to wear swim pants/nappies in the pool.
